After working on a myriad of projects in the last 5 years, Tru is now poised to drop his official debut. Smokers Lounge is a fusion of Lounge, Jazz and golden-era Hip Hop bundled in the analogue warmth of the 60’s & 70’s.

Smokers Lounge projects an air of positivity as even minor progressions take on a more optimistic tune. Tempos, scales, and varying time signatures allow for Smokers Lounge to embrace the nostalgia of past generations. Digging through crates for vinyl gems was not in the cards for Tru this go around. Backed by a number of his closest peers, Tru constructed an all original, genre bending collection of songs. Smokers Lounge will be released on March 25th and will be available for free download.
